The company provides real-time asset intelligence by integrating connected sensors, cloud software, and data analytics to give their corporate clients a powerful competitive edge in moving freight worldwide.

Your Key Focus Areas
As a Backend Software Engineer, you would join an interdisciplinary agile product team responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining distributed backend services that process real-time data from IoT devices at global scale.
You will work on:
- Building scalable backend services handling millions of data points daily
- Designing and implementing RESTful APIs for fleet management platforms
- Developing data processing pipelines for real-time asset tracking
- Working with modern cloud-native technologies and microservices architecture
- Collaborate with your team to design, implement, test, deploy, and maintain new features and services
- Actively participate in technical discussions around architecture, solutions, and technology choices
- Proactively identify improvements, tackle technical debt, and enhance documentation
- Continuously improve code quality and maintainability
- Stay current with latest technologies and share knowledge with the team
- Act as an onboarding buddy for new team members
- Participate in agile development activities (stand-ups, planning, demos, retrospectives)
